Linen Union

Linen Union is a slightly softer fabric than the Linen twill, due to its cotton content. The colour is a little darker than the Twill more of a beige or biscuit colour that the oatmeal of the twill. This is a popular alternative to the Twill for Crewelwork and Jacobean embroidery, however the Union has a straight grain line, it is easy fabric to use with crewel wools and is lovely to work with.
