Excellent for adding colour to any piece of Goldwork. Shimmer purls are made by wrapping contrasting foils around a medium sized wire, creating an amazing shimmering effect. They are only very slightly larger than the standard purls meaning that they are very versatile.

Coloured purl wires are available in so many colours that they can really add new dimensions to your work. Use alongside the traditional gold, silver and copper or used in a more contemporary piece to create an innovative finished design. The wires are also available in a variety of styles from Metallic and Shimmer to Check purls, Ropes and Spirals  so there is something to suit all tastes and styles.
