Celtic Bird
Celtic Bird Or Nue technique. A lovely introduction to Or Nue (or shaded gold) which is a form of goldwork embroidery, couching different coloured silk threads are stitched over the metallic base of gold threads to form patterns or designs. This traditional design is striking and makes an excellent 1st project in this technique.
Included: Jap, Black Stranded cotton, Wadding, Silk dupion, backing fabric, Needles, Design, Tracing, Tracing Paper, and Mount Card
Not included: Embroidery frame, Bee’s Wax, Darning needle, Couching thread this can be Silk, Polyester or Cotton thread (this should be strong) or Translucent.
