Check Thread 16×3 in Gold. Available in 2 metres, it is also known as Crinkle Cordonnet in French. Made by wrapping fine wire around a silk or cotton core creates to create a wavy thread.

Check thread has a loose wavy appearance, it is ideal for edging an area to create interest and texture, size 16 x 3 is by far the most popular of the check threads but it is also available in size 8×2 (size 7) which is finer and 36×6 which is thicker.
