Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original or similar packaging. (items returned with out protection will not be refunded – i.e in a none padded envelope)

Some items of goods are exempt from being returned such as real gold items, this will be noted on the product

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Real gold Jap
  • 2% gold items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase, this can be done via email with your order confirmation/order number

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Book with obvious signs of use
  • DVD with obvious signs of use
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

RETREATS AND COURSES

All retreats and courses must be paid in full and are subject to there own Refund/cancelation policy

If for any reason you wish to cancel the following refund policy would apply as we do have to pay for the venue upfront. We can not and will not be able to refund you due to sickness or issues with transport (i.e cancelled trains or flights), you would need to claim from your own personal insurance policy.

If you Cancel:

Within 1 month of event – no refund will be given

up to 3 months prior to event 25% refund

up to 6 months prior to event 50% refund

6 months or more 75% refund

All retreats and courses are subject to these terms and conditions with no exceptions.

We do not provide insurance for our retreats we do however strongly recommend that you look for insurance to cover the cost of your stay, to protect you in the event of sickness, travel problems etc.

We do not provide and cannot recommend any insurance companies for retreats or courses.

In the event that we need to cancel a retreat we will offer an alternative and if not suitable we would offer a full refund.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Gift refunds

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

To clarify we can only refund any goods directly to the original purchaser and card. If items were sent to an alternative person at an alternative address directly a credit note will be offered

Returning items

To return your product, you should mail your product to: Golden Hinde 28 Edward Gardens, Martinscroft, Warrington Cheshire WA1 4QT – items must be returned in suitable packaging, if items are not protected adequately and are damaged on return in transit we have the right to refuse to refund. Items must be returned in a saleable condition.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

If you are overseas (outside of the UK) we are not responsible for any customs charges and we will not refund these charges

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
