Want to get away with it all and relax with some wonderful Goldwork Embroidery. You will meet like-minded people on our Monday-Friday retreats, with a variety of different retreats held year round so there will be something for everyone, you can find our other retreat options here. Just imagine no chores, no daily routine to distract you, and the luxury of feeling looked after from dinner on your day of arrival to lunch on departure day.
This retreat is suitable for everyone, is there a particular stitch you want to learn? we can show you how to do it. Choose your design and away you go. Our well established Tutor Sarah Rakestraw has many years of experience in the world of Goldwork and has written a book called Glorious goldwork. Sarah loves teaching, she is patient and approachable and really enjoys giving people the confidence to produce a beautiful piece of work.
There will be a pack available to purchase, for the project you will be doing. You will have the option to choose the colours you would like to work with, so the cost will be selection dependent.
Accommodation and meals
All of our residential’s include accommodation at Foxhill house, which is based in the Cheshire countryside, with a large amount of grounds to explore.
Your accommodation will be an en-suite bedroom for one. Occasionally we will have other options available, contact us for details. It is also full board so you don’t need to worry about finding somewhere to eat
Cost includes all accommodation and meals as follows:
Breakfast includes cereals, fruit, toast, or full-cooked English breakfast.
Morning Coffee (or a variety of teas, Coffee or juice) comes with biscuits.
Lunch will be served as a buffet, either hot or cold.
Afternoon Tea a variety of teas, or coffee, or juice served with biscuits.
Dinner is a three-course meal, hot or cold.
Terms and conditions and cancellation policy:
All bookings must be paid in full to secure your place. You can view the full terms and conditions here. £50 of the booking amount will be automatically classed as a non-refundable deposit. If you wish to make any amendments there will be a £50 amendment fee. All details of any cancellations or amendments can be seen in the terms and conditions.
A copy of the terms and conditions will be sent to you as a downloadable file when you book.
