A 50 metre reel of Goldwork Couching Thread. Made from the finest polyester. The thread is semi translucent and therefore adapts to the background colour, which reduces the need for more colours.

This is lovely stuff. It blends rather well – I should have bought a darker one, but I used it to couch down a fine black thread and it was still OK. It is quite fine and flexible, so not bulky like some nylon invisible thread. Also it isn’t invisible, just translucent, so you can SEE what you’re doing with it! Best of all it doesn’t knot or twist, so it’s a pleasure to work with. Brilliant!
