We needed to move these two Residentials to new venues due to Covid 19. We have contacted everyone booked on to these courses directly in regards to the venue.

We really enjoyed holding 2 retreats for Illuminated letters and get the our retreats going after having to postpone during Covid. Due to the closure of Foxhills for our first dates we held it at Shallowford Hall in Staffordshire and the second one at Foxhill. Both Venues were fantastic and did all they could to make the experience the best they could with the restrictions that were in place at the time. The Ladies in attendance worked really hard to create some wonderful pieces, some had previous goldwork experiences others were new to the techniques, but they all provides some outstanding work.. See some of the work below to see the standard, We posted everyone’s work on our social media pages and the response was amazing.

The beauty of our retreats is that you are learning new skills whilst also spending time with people with the same interests, you can make new friends and be inspired by the work of others. We usually have 2 or 3 stitching sessions each day and the rest of your day is free time where you can relax in your private room or one of the communal rooms, alternatively you would be welcome to explore the

Goldwork Embroidery Retreats – We are delighted to be able to offer residential courses at our chosen venue is Foxhill House and Gardens, this beautiful house in located in the Cheshire countryside set within 70 acres of mature woodland and lawns, on the outskirts of the lovely village of Frodsham. You can see a bit more about the history of the house below.

All residential’s include accommodation at Foxhill house, which is generally a on suite bedroom for one. Occasionally we will have other options available.

Cost included all accommodation and meals as follows:

Breakfast includes cereals, fruit, toast

Morning Coffee (or a variety of teas, Coffee or juice) comes with a selection of biscuits.

Lunch is served as a buffet, hot or cold.

Afternoon Tea (a variety of teas, or coffee, or juice) is served with biscuits.

Dinner is a three-course meal, hot or cold.

Cancellation policy

If for any reason you wish to cancel the following refund policy would apply,

Within 1 month of event – no refund

up to 3 months prior to event 25% refund

up to 6 months prior to event 50% refund

6 months or more 75% refund

if we have spaces on other courses we may be able to move you.
